Ihr alle kennt doch bestimmt die grüne Tür von Bilbos Haus, oder?! Tja, da dachte ich mich, ich versuche mich an einer kleinen Hobbithöhle mit ein paar Filmbildern drin.

 I'm pretty sure you all know the green door of Bilbo's house, don't you?! Well, I thought about trying to make a little hobbit house filled with some movie pictures.

Christmas Card #3

Einen schönen 1. Advent euch allen!

A wonderful first advent to all of you!

Es tut mir Leid, dass ich so lange nichts mehr gepostet oder kommentiert habe, aber mich hatte eine fiese Grippe erwischt, die mich doch tatsächlich eine ganze Woche lahm gelegt hat.

I'm so sorry that I haven't posted or commented anything for such a long time, but I had a really bad cold, which actually chained me to bed one week.

Deshalb habe ich es leider auch nicht rechtzeitig geschafft, einen DT Beitrag für die neuen Challenges auf Fairytale Stampers und Stempelträume zu werkeln. Schaut doch trotzdem mal vorbei, es sind wieder tolle Themen!

That is why I also haven't managed to make a DT piece of art for the new challenges at Fairytale Stampers and Stempelträume. But nevertheless, hop over and join us, the topics are again great!

Steampunk Balloon ATCs

Hallo meine lieben Leserinnen und Leser,

Hello my dear readers,

auch wenn ich eigentlich mit der Weihnachtskartenproduktion weitermachen sollte, hat mich dieses Wochenende mal wieder die Lust gepackt, ein paar ATCs zu werkeln.

even though I should go on with my Christmas card production, this weekend I was in the mood of creating some ATCs.

Außerdem möchte ich unbedingt mal wieder bei SanDee & amelie's Steampunk Challenges mitmachen. Das habe ich die letzten Monate leider etwas vernachlässigt :-).

Furthermore, I really wanted to join SanDee & amelie's Steampunk Challenges again. I didn't find much time for it in the last months.

Dort heißt es diesmal: "Balloon, Balloon!"

There the topic this time is: "Balloon, Balloon!"

So ist dann dieses Set entstanden:

Die Uhren im Hintergrund sind teilweise schwarz gestempelt und teilweise Kupfer hitzeembosst.

The clocks in the background are partly stamped in black and partly heat-embossed in copper.

Hier sind die Flügel und die Zahnräder in Kupfer hitzeembossed. Den Zahnradstempel habe ich mir übrigens selbst gemacht, aus Moosgummi.

Here the wings and the gears are heat-embossed in copper. By the way, I made the gear stamp myself, out of foam rubber.

Zur Erinnerung: Ihr dürft jeden Aspekt aus den Filmen für eure Werke verwenden und es ist uns egal, ob ihr Karten bastelt, ein Bild malt oder etwas näht. Alles ist erwünscht, cute oder non-cute.

 

Today the second challenge is starting here. And our topic this time is: Pirates of the Caribbean. We are sure that you’ll have plenty of ideas. To remember: You can use every aspect of the movies for your projects and it doesn’t matter whether you make a card, paint a picture or sew something. Everything is welcome, cute or non-cute.

Die Ränder der Schatzkarte habe ich ein bisschen mit Feuer bearbeitet, das macht es doch gleich authentischer, oder?!

 

I used fire to create the effect on the margins of the treasure card. It's much mor authentic in that way, isn't it?!
